This year, we have opened lavender season with a cooperative agritourism emphasis! On Fridays, we are open for walk-abouts, demonstrations and sales as McDuffie County’s featured lavender farm. Lavender season is upon us and we are currently harvesting English Lavender. This Friday, May 30th, at 11 a.m., we will be demonstrating the making of our herbal vinegars and offering samples of our Lavender, Blueberry and Purple Basil Vinegar. A featured iced tea blend will also be available for your sampling. One of the things that makes us unique is our emphasis on farm grown herbals becoming farm generated end products, a “value added” emphasis important to us and to the freshness and quality we provide our customers. Many of our plantings and gardens have native species and heirloom varieties as their anchors. Our plants are grown in cultivated native soils with access to the micro-nutrients and soil components only found in a native planting system. Come on out to the Farm!!
